On Pop Theology Podcast: Episode 7 - Emergence Christianity (Part 2)

by Ben Howard

Hey everybody, hope you're doing well and enjoying the (occasionally) cold days of January. Last week Sebastian and I talked about some of my experiences at the Emergence Christianity event in Memphis, Tennessee earlier this year. This week we continue that conversation.

In Part 2 of our discussion of Emergence Christianity, Sebastian and I cover Pecha Kucha presentations, Jay Bakker, Batman dioramas, Cameron Trimble and the Center for Progressive Renewal, Bruce Reyes-Chow, race in the church, the modernist tendencies of the Emergence Movement, the shadow of progress, authority, atonement theory, and what we think about the future of the church.
