On Pop Theology Podcast: Episode 8 - The Godfather (Of The Podcast), Part I

by Ben Howard

This week we take the podcast on the road to meet the Godfather of On Pop Theology, Dr. George Goldman of Lipscomb University. To be fair, it's not that much of a road trip because it's still in Nashville, but it is the first episode recorded outside of the studio.

In part one of our interview, I talk to Dr. Goldman about how he became the (unwitting) Godfather of On Pop Theology. We also dicsuss postmodernism, Gospel and culture, The Simpsons, media representations of church, The Bachelor, reality TV, A.J. McCarron's girlfriend, and celebrity culture. I hope you enjoy and remember to check out part two next week!
